by lokasiwisata.info This Full Moon is one of the most powerful events of the summer and is tightly wrapped up into the intense dynamic of change from the square formation between Uranus and Pluto. Every Full Moon contains an opposition between the Sun and the Moon, and the solar force of conscious awareness creates tension with the lunar force of instinct and emotion. During the Full Moon the Sun is invisible, seen only in the illumination of the Moon and the power of the inner world. The Aries Full Moon demands that we energize ourselves into action and face our fears directly rather than shrink into overly polite or cautious behavior. The Moon conjoins Uranus which is already opposed by the Sun, creating an urgency and a restless quality that demands change in any area of our life where we are not living authentically. Pluto challenges the whole system and will force a breakdown in any area that is not supporting the impetus for change. Living a lie? Swallowing your feelings? Hiding from your emotions? None of these things will be possible at this Full Moon. This is the Full Moon of the warrior gods and goddesses. We are all called upon now to be our best selves – to rise to the challenge and be co-creators of the transformation. Fortunate we have some powerful allies for the journey. The transformational power of Pluto harmonizes in a sextile to Chiron, the facilitator of healing and personal evolution, pushing our inner wounds to the surface where they can be lanced like a boil to remove the poisons that lie beneath. And Saturn lays out a comforting grid of structure and a solid foundation as it forms a trine […]
Recently I did a reading for a woman who was born under the Aquarius Stellium of 1962 who was dealing with neurological issues, something that is not uncommon with people who have a strong Uranian component in their chart, and the modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus. I have long believed that the autism phenomenon, rather than a disorder to be treated, marks a significant shift in genetic patterning of the human race. The statistics are staggering: 1 in 150 American children are now diagnosed to be somewhere on the autism spectrum. There appear to be many different statistical correlations that suggest connections to possible causes: mercury in vaccines, genetic history of families, and even the. All provide reasonable arguments, yet no single cause stands out. After mercury was removed from vaccines in 1999, he autism rate continued to climb making this a less convincing cause. There is no doubt that autism spectrum disorders (ADS) are diagnosed more frequently now than in years past, but this increase in diagnosis does not reasonably explain the 800% and more increase in autism rates. I have long felt that there is a Uranian component to the autism spectrum of disorders. Astrological Uranus rules technology and all things geeky – it is the planet of innovation, of invention, of reason and new ways of thinking. It is Uranus which opens the doorway to “Eureka” type experiences, that seem to come from nowhere in a blinding flash of insight. Uranus is not concerned with emotion – it remains detached and focused on order. The astonishing rise of the prevalence of autism since the early 1990s suggests a link to the Uranus-Neptune conjunction that […]

The autumn equinox takes place every September in the northern hemisphere when the Sun enters Libra. The equinox is a time of balance between day and night, and Libra is itself the sign of balance and equilibrium, so at the autumn equinox we find our own inner balance between what lies within and what is outside of ourselves; between what we need for ourselves and what we need to do to nourish and nurture our relationships.
The chart for the Autumn Equinox this year includes a first quarter Moon. The first quarter Moon is the opening square (90 degree aspect) of the lunar cycle, and squares create conflict and challenge. This aspect echoes the opening square between Uranus and Pluto which is currently creating such a huge need for adjustment on the global stage, so we are witnessing this crisis of adjustment and change as a macrocosm (Uranus/Pluto) as well as a microcosm (Sun/Moon first quarter) at the Equinox. The square between Uranus and Pluto reached its culmination just a few days before and the two are still tightly locked in the alignment. The pressure to transform our lives is at its most intense right now, yet the Equinox inspires us to find balance and create equilibrium in our lives where we are able to find it.
Since 2008, the Sun has been in hard aspects (conjunctions, squares and oppositions) to Pluto at the Equinoxes and Solstices as it entered the cardinal signs, since Pluto is in Capricorn which is one of the cardinal signs (the others are Libra, Aries and Cancer). Last year when Uranus moved into Aries it joined the intense dynamic and created further intensity and conflict. Because the […]
If you feel as though your life has intensified over the past week, you are not alone. If you open up a newspaper you will see that all over the world conflict is heating up as old failing systems begin to break down so that new paradigms can take their place. It is 2012 after all!
This is what the Uranus/Pluto cycle is all about. Pluto tears down old and outmoded structures that are no longer working, and this is especially true when Pluto is in Capricorn as it is now. Capricorn is the sign of the power structures, and ever since Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 we have seen a shift in the way we look at how power is held by organizations and individuals. Uranus, on the other hand, is about authenticity and liberation – radical change that shakes us to our very bones. Uranus is in Aries, the sign of the individual and the warrior. It is no wonder we are seeing the balance of power shift from the Superpower era to an era of small splinter groups that rule through intimidation and warfare.
Pluto turns direct on the 18th, meaning it will change direction after a retrograde turn that has lasted since April. Planets don’t really orbit backwards, but because we observe the movement of the planets from our own perspective they sometimes appear to do so. Outer planet represent transformational forces and when retrograde they tend to operate primarily on an internal level, and when Pluto turns direct (to appear to move forward again) there is a sense that the buildup of tension is released along with the transformative force that is pushing from behind.
Pluto turns direct just one day before the second exact […]
Sorry for the light posting over the past few weeks – I’m out of town this week and feeling quite refreshed and ready to get back to blogging! September 15th brings the New Moon in Virgo which highlights Ceres, the former asteroid which was reclassified in 2005. Ceres represents the nurturing of the body and our connection to our own bodies, and Virgo itself presides over the mundane details that we must attend to when we live in a human body. The food we eat, our personal hygiene, ordering the details of life – these are important qualities that Virgo manages and the inclusion of Ceres here makes this New Moon the perfect time to begin a project of self-care or making changes in the personal ecology of our lives to better support ourselves. Cleaning projects, new systems of managing our time and resources – all of these are highlighted under the Virgo New Moon. It is a mistake to believe that VIrgo is virginal – there is an earthiness and sensuality to Virgo just as with all earth signs. The key here is to integrate that earthiness with our understanding so that we can gain greater comfort as spiritual beings having a human experience. Ceres aligns in a harmonious trine to Saturn and conflicts in a square to Mercury which sets up an interesting dynamic of comfort combined with stress in this relationship between the body and the spirit that culminates at the New Moon. With this energetic tension at work in new lunar cycle we can discover new ways of looking at our relationship to the world around us – what it means to be incarnated in the physical reality in which we find ourselves. Mercury is […]
