. The October Full Moon is sometimes called the Hunter’s Moon – in the northern hemisphere this is the time when the deer are rutting and behave wildly, and humans are preparing for a long winter by stocking up on food.
This Full Moon occurs at zero degrees Taurus – the very beginning of the astrological sign which more than any other connects us to the Earth.
