The Pluto process and the galactic center shift

With Mars conjunct Pluto and the G.C. this week there are a lot of theories about the significance, if any, of the Galactic Center shift. The spirituality boards are fired up and here are some of the things I’ve found:

Mars conjuncts Pluto near the Galactic Center on the 13th. Mars then enters Capricorn on the 16th. The Sun enters Aquarius on the 20th. Jupiter in Sagittarius squares Uranus in Pisces on the 22nd. Venus enters Pisces on the 27th. There’s a sense of deepening heaviness, gravity as time goes on. It’s ironic that the energies are so flowing now in comparison to recent years. You wouldn’t expect this mounting heaviness. But this is the nature, the gravity of the unconscious. If you are not conscious with it, it will drag you down. Your intentions will come manifest. Do you want your intentions to be unconscious based on your karmic crud? Or would you like to be consciously intending your manifestations? Time will tell. Mark Krueger

Remembering that we inform the mysteries as much as they inform us and noting the coming together of these major transformative cycles with the December Solstice near Galactic Center (a 26,000 year timing) with Pluto (a 248 year timing, with the Lunar Standstill (a 19 year timing) with Jupiter (a 12 year timing) this may well be a once in many eons of time kind of Celestial Event. We at least know it can’t have happened since the last turning of the Galactic Wheel 26,000 years ago. Cosmologically this is, simply said, bigger than BIG and the question is how are we choosing to participate? When we use the power to inform with the intent to transform ourselves and the planet without attachment to the results, but rather trusting what […]

We are living in a Renaissance time

posted this article by Raymond Merriman:

We are living in a Renaissance time, and most of us do not even know it, or cannot find the time to step back and appreciate it. Every 500 years Neptune and Pluto return to their same spatial relationship to one another. Every 171 years, Uranus and Neptune do the same. And every 126 years, Uranus and Pluto do the same. Three Uranus-Neptune cycles approximately equals one Neptune-Pluto cycle. And four Uranus-Pluto cycles equal approximately one Neptune-Pluto cycle. That means every 500 years or so, these 3 outermost planets in our solar system (well, they were until scientists re-labeled them this past year) are in approximately the same position in reference to the zodiac and one another. In 1398-1399, Neptune and Pluto formed their conjunction at 2-4 degrees of Gemini, which was just about the time that Italian Renaissance officially began. These two planets did not come together again until 1891-1892 at 7-9 degrees of Gemini, which could be argued as the approximate period of the start of another renaissance that we are still living today.

But what is most interesting is that Neptune and Pluto moved into a long sextile (60 degree) aspect to one another from 1460 through 1540. This same relationship returned again 1950-2032. Due to Pluto’s elliptical orbit, Neptune actually comes inside of Pluto’s orbit and is closer to the Sun during some of this period. That is why this aspect remains in effect so long. In the late 15th century, as this sextile was in effect, the intellectual and artistic climate of Europe was extremely exciting. It was a time of innovative movements that completely transformed several aspects of life, from economics, to art, to religion and philosophy. The height of this was even more defined […]

Vibrational shifts

I’ve been seeing an increased number of postings on panic and anxiety, and I admit to having some problems myself in this area. For me it began during the opposition of Saturn to Neptune that affected a sensitive point in my chart. Perhaps this is because of the conjunction of Pluto to the Galactic Center; perhaps its part of the changes that occurred beginning during the Uranus-Neptune conjunction in 1993. Several of you have written to me about your own difficulties with the increasingly intense energy that we are channeling in our bodies to which some of us are more sensitive than others.

Susan Custer has a n this very subject. This mirrors my experience exactly:

Many of us are living in two worlds. When we step out of our homes or normal routines, there is an off-putting energy. It makes us slightly dizzy, confused, or agitated. When we step out into the mundane world, we’re in a different vibration and our strengthened intuitive senses are bombarded. This has been amplified by the opposition between Saturn and Neptune. On June 25, Saturn will make its final pass in this phase to Neptune. Neptune is creativity and sensitivity, and Saturn is grounding and manifesting. With the opposition, we have to figure out how to incorporate this new sensitivity and intuition in a comfortable way.

Our instincts are expanding. Even though we’re in another dimension, we’re still in tune with the frequencies of the Earth. If you suddenly make a misstep, your world spins, or a chill goes up your spine, you may be feeling an earthquake thousands of miles away.

This is a time to spend more time focusing within and strengthening our bonds with our inner self and guides because a great deal of trust and faith […]

Stephen Levine on Awakening

As the weather turns colder and we head into the season of Scorpio, we are pulled deeper within, deeper into the Mystery.

There always seems to be a bit of discussion about what is the nature of the soul…. Some believe the soul to be eternal; others believe that time itself is impermanent. Eternity can have widely differing definitions depending on the peephole through which we are squinting.

For some, eternity means paradise with their beloved; for others, eternity is the time it takes and the births that must be taken to be wholly transformed into our indescribable original grace.

Some say that for a few moments before death we retrieve our soul. It sounded good, but I just couldn’t wait. It is advisable in fact to begin as soon after birth as you remember.

The definition of soul that seems closest to most people’s deepest experience is that of being “the witness,” the awareness behind it all, the presence in presence.

Soul as watcher, the awareness that combines with what is near to produce consciousness.

To retrieve the soul is to regain consciousness. That is why it is called awakening.

Awakening is not enlightenment, but is is a prerequisite. It is the breaking of the trance of blindly following conditioning. It is a coming into your own to find out who and what that might be.

We have literally passed out (or never passed in) and become unconscious. Now we must pass in (get fully born) to reestablish consciousness in the body/mind.

We need to coax the light back with mercy and awareness.

First awareness must reenter the belly – we must feel our feelings. […]

Andrew Harvey’s Dark Night of the Soul

"I Go Now" by Dark Awakening

While I was on vacation I happened on a radio interview with Andrew Harvey, a mystic and Shakespearean scholar who believes as many do that the earth is heading for some troubled times. I was very impressed by the depth of his commitment to the spiritual life and his eloquence in describing the twists and turns that are required on the path to becoming one with the divine.

Harvey’s recent book is entitled The Sun at Midnight, written about his long journey through the dark night of the soul. In the opposition from Saturn to Neptune, many of us are experiencing such a “dark night” in the form of the ending (Saturn) of our illusions (Neptune). Although Pluto is now associated with death and the principle of rebirth, before Pluto was discovered Saturn ruled over death’s domain. Death under Saturn is a cold hard ending as we come face to face with the fragility of our spiritual connections under Neptune. Although Saturn is a stern teacher, the rewards are great and when we face the hard lessons that Saturn brings we are given great rewards. In its opposition to Neptune, adopting or deepening the discipline (Saturn) of a spiritual practice (Neptune) will help to facilitate the progression of our cosmic education.

But there is a deeper death in Harvey’s writings: the death and regeneration that we associate with Pluto. The reclassification of Pluto into a new category along with Ceres and now Eris adds a new complexity to our concept of this transformation that we may not yet have the capacity to understand. Perhaps there is a clue in Harvey’s words […]
