Decoding the Galactic Center

The Galactic Center, at 26 degrees Sagittarius, was a big topic a few years ago when Pluto transited  through that point for the first time in 244 years, but it’s not a subject that receives a great deal of astrological discussion otherwise.

Astrologically, the Galactic Center is the heart of the Universe – the soul of wisdom for our solar system and our species of humanity.

Now there is that maps the Galactic Center, showing where the black hole and surrounding galaxies reside.

If like me this is still ultra-confusing, of the Milky Way Transit Authority which imagines the Galactic Center as Grand Central Station.

Love the MWTA map. We humans can be so clever, can’t we?

Lynn this is wonderful! Thanks for posting – I am a bit obsessed with the GC so it is wonderful to have a map for the transit system;)

@Xenia, the Super Galactic Center deals with other galaxies than our own and I’m not sure that this would even be relevant to our experience. As science expands our knowledge of the Universe we have to start picking and choosing which archetypes we can incorporate into the astrological pantheon and which we cannot.

Pluto was at there in 1758 when Ben Franklin invented the 3 wheel clock. There must be some super-significant invention in 2007, greater than iPhone.

What could be greater than the IPhone! ::tongue incheek::

    Ha-ha!
Something greater: IGroove – The evil thought interceptor and transmuter

(Just thinking of how the Internet was created beyond the knowledge of public for about 30 years – first used in 1962 by the military, same actually with cell phone)
