Post election comments, astrological and otherwise

Art by Sam Brown

As many of you know, I deliberately stayed out of the business of predicting who would win the 2016 election.  In light of the Uranus and Pluto cycles that the US is currently going through I privately believed that a Trump presidency fit right into the potential of breakdown and adjustment that these cycles are known for.  The only prediction that I made is that no matter who won, the US would be in for a rather long period of stressful conflict and soul searching and I am still of this belief.

If you supported Trump and quite a few of my readers apparently do, I hope that the benefits that you saw in your candidate will turn out to be realized in the coming four years.  If you were on the other side, there is nothing to be done but avoid falling into the rage and despair which turns us into the darkness that we fight against.

The study of astrology teaches us that everything is cyclical.  “Bad” things don’t happen in a vacuum – the challenges come during periods that we can identify through the planetary alignments, and usually occur when there is a lack of balance in our psyches, our bodies, our relationships, our communities, our nations.  There is no doubt that the United States is severely out of balance and not aligned with a higher purpose, and nature has unpredictable ways of restoring its ecosystems into balance.

Until the whole of humanity can live in peace and love with the Earth and its inhabitants, these cycles of war and devastation will continue.  But we must not allow this to depress or devastate us personally – we are in charge of our own little ecosystem and we can continue to work towards creating and bringing light into every area of our lives no matter what political system we find ourselves in.

Illusion, disillusion, deceitfulness and lies versus clarity, vision, compassion and an open heart. Two faces of Neptune, I believe. (Neptune Direct on Saturday, Nov. 19th) Every minute we can choose. Thank you, Lynn. Well written. I love your insights!

You say “a rather long period of stressful conflict and soul searching…” How long is “rather long”?
Until Pluto leaves Capricorn? In the mean time, what is happening with the Grand Cross? And is there any good news out there in the heavens for us?

I’m going to be writing more about this Lisa, so stay tuned.

I believe that until Pluto is in Capricorn. And Pluto was here 247 yrs. ago, and wrecked the USA. with the most bloodiest civil war ever. Pluto is here again. I think yes, this
planet of distractions will bring down all that is outdated. Then it will build up what is needed. I believe that Pluto is leaving in 2035, and in yr. of 2034, we will have the same
super super moon, as we will have November 14 th. Very strong. There was an earth quake in Japan yesterday 6.2 attributed to the strong ties of the oceans.
I believe that God is moving the Universe to achieve His ultimate plan for human kinds.

Maria, thanks for commenting but some of your data here is incorrect. Pluto was last in Capricorn in 1762, and Pluto is in Capricorn in the US chart of 1776. The Civil War occurred in the 1860s. Pluto leaves Capricorn in 2024 and will go back and forth between Aquarius and Capricorn during 2024 so it will fully enter Capricorn in 2024, not 2035. By 2035 Pluto will be fully in Aquarius.

Lynn, do you mean fully in Aquarius, by 2035?

          • November 14, 2016 at 6:13 am

Yes!! Thanks Edna, I made this correction.

    Thanks, Lynn.

I’m curious about the upcoming mercury retrograde which starts the day the electoral college voting process begins (dec 19). It ends two days after congress is back in session (jan 8).
