The Astrology of Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge

easelPrince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, welcomed their baby boy into the world on July 22nd at 4:24 pm BST.  Will and Kate have been a fresh air for the British monarchy which has been plagued by scandal and crisis for an entire generation.

The baby, who does not yet have a name, was born while the Sun was still in Cancer (at 29 degrees, 58 minutes).  You can’t get much closer to a Leo Sun without being there, and the symbology of the last degree is an important one.  From a practical perspective, someone whose Sun sign is at the last degree of a sign is truly on the cusp – the qualities of the next sign begin to bleed into the previous one.  So the influence of Cancer  (sensitivity, family-oriented) is waning, and there is the beginnings of Leo (energetic, powerful) beginning to peek in.

The 29th degree is associated with endings – it is the completion of a cycle.  Yesterday I wrote that a royal baby born with the Sun at the 29th degree could see the end of the monarchy in his lifetime.  However, endings also spell new beginnings.  Nothing ends without something new taking its place.

The royal baby’s chart shows not only the Sun at the last degree – the Moon too is at very nearly the end (28 degrees) of Capricorn in a nearly exact Full Moon formation (the Full Moon occurs when the Moon is opposite the Sun from our perspective on Earth).  The Full Moon personality type is a culmination – there is a peak of energy, a wisdom that has accumulated over previous lifetimes that can be fully expressed.

Scorpio is rising in the chart – the sign of power and intensity acting as the veil through which all of his experiences will be filtered.  The  North Node is in Scorpio as well, suggesting that the mantle of power is a part of his destiny.  But with the North Node in the Twelfth House, he will have to surrender in some way.  There is no way to predict how this will happen, but the Twelfth House requires a letting go and an embrace of a spiritual reality that goes beyond this worldly realm.

The traditional ruler of Scorpio is Mars (the sign of aggression and drive) , and we find Mars well aspected in a conjunction to Jupiter (beneficence and optimism) that is part of the Watery Grand Trine of 2013.  This will be a powerful individual because not only is Scorpio rising in the chart, but the Sun is in the Eighth House (the house associated with Scorpio) along with three other planets (Mercury, Mars and Jupiter).

The Eighth House is where we find experiences that challenge us to go deeper – there can be danger there, and sometimes death.  Eighth house/Scorpio people are here to gain understanding about the underworld – the true nature of power is in letting go.   With Mars and Jupiter in the Eighth house, this child will almost certainly grow up with an interest in warfare and issues of power.  With the addition of Jupiter here there is a sense of innate wisdom, and the Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Cancer demonstrates a fierce passion (Mars) and expansive love (Jupiter) for his family and his nation (Cancer).

This is an extremely watery chart, with not only one Grand Trine in Water (Mars/Jupiter trine Neptune trine Saturn) but two (Chiron trine Mercury trine his North Node).  The element of feeling and sensitivity is the strongest component of the chart.  Because the chart lacks the element of air which bestows objectivity and reason, it will be difficult for him to see other’s points of view or a broader perspective.  With Neptune (planet of imagination and creativity) in the Third House of communication, he will likely express himself through the arts in some way.  This is emphasized by the opposition from Neptune to Venus (planet of love and beauty) which enhances the creative flow but can also create a veil of illusion when it comes to personal relationships.

Any child born during this period in which Uranus (revolution) and Pluto (destruction and regeneration) are entwined in their dance (see the sidebar for more information on this cycle if this is new to you) will have this dynamic embedded in their chart.  This generation will possess a passionate drive to create change and bring justice to the world.

Interestingly, the Tenth House of career and public work is empty, just as it is in Prince Charles’s chart.  There is some talk that the throne will skip a generation when Queen Elizabeth is gone and go directly to Prince William, and with an empty Tenth House there is not a strong focus on public work.  Queen Elizabeth, by contrast, has Saturn, planet of struggle and achievement, sitting right on the Midheaven, the cusp of the Tenth House.

Our birth chart is our fate, but we create our destiny.  The chart shows only the potentialities and is influenced by the world around us, the family into which we are born, and the events in our outer world that filter through to the inner one.  It will be interesting to watch this young boy grow up and see how the events of the chart come to pass.

Yes! I do personal consultations.  More here.

    Lynn,

Your comments seem very glowing in the main. I am curious what you make of the Moon in Detriment, Venus in Fall, and Mars in Fall? Both luminaries afflicted by Saturn with no positive aspects to either luminary? The Uranus square to the Pluto to Mercury-Mars-Jupiter opposition? (I know technically a T-square)

    Thanks,

    James

James, there are many more things that can be said about this chart. As you probably know from your evident knowledge of an astrology, a detailed chart analysis could run 20 pages or more. So I introduced the highlights of the chart as best I could. The essential dignities of detriment and fall are traditional concepts that do not fit into my transformational approach to astrology. Hence you will rarely see them mentioned in this column. However, the Uranus/Pluto square was in the first version of this post and somehow didn’t make it into the revision and I will go ahead and add it back in.

You make him sound like the second coming of Hitler.

    • lokasiwisata.info July 23, 2013 at 8:47 am

Really? I don’t see that at all.

    • Rachel July 23, 2013 at 10:14 am

It does seem a little worrisome.

“Because the chart lacks the element of air which bestows objectivity and reason, it will be difficult for him to see other’s points of view or a broader perspective.”

and “With Mars and Jupiter in the Eighth house, this child will almost certainly grow up with an interest in warfare and issues of power.”

      • Marie September 18, 2013 at 11:27 pm

Oh really. I know the chart and I can tell you, she’s being VERY
cautious. It is not a good chart. In fact, he might even walk off and go live in another country. There are criminal tendencies in that chart too. Now how’s that for Hitler ?

        • lokasiwisata.info September 19, 2013 at 9:54 pm

For the benefit of my readers, please know that despite this comment there is absolutely no way that you can predict criminal tendencies from a birthchart.

I have no planets or points in air but I am a counselor. Listening and putting on other people’s shoes on a daily basis is what I do. So I guess I am either a crappy counselor or there is something more to lacking an element. Maybe it works more as a drive to overcompensate for what is missing.

    • lokasiwisata.info July 23, 2013 at 4:44 pm

Counseling is more about water and sensitivity than air. Air by itself doesn’t possess the empathy required for counseling.

Astrology is a fascinating subject the people who believe in it have usually at least several extremely odd coincidences that can only be explained by the gossamer connections that this science provides. I have to throw in my two cents as the opinions expressed above seem extremely wide of the mark and I would like this opportunity to correct them ……..

I know its all in good fun, but this little chap has the best chance out of all of us to see the great and the good and the wonders that the new century has to offer. We have had our time on Earth blighted by wars, religions, fake achievements like the moon landings, and by critical assassinations of the heroes who could have led us to a different path in history, just think of what your eyes will never see, and what his eyes will. Anyway back to the astrology, firstly the child has no problems what soever he has a charmed life ahead of him, even though his parents obviously under pressure from those who do not read astrology gave him a very bad luck name King George is as atrocious a name as it was possible to give him, but he will alter it himself in due course, the reason the name is bad luck is that it belongs to the old family and their horoscopic pattern has ended in disaster.

It is well understood in astrological circles that Charles will never be crowned, he too is bad luck and his name Charles is also the name of someone who will always fail, he is destined to die soon by some kind of horse related accident and within 5 minutes no one will remember his passing. Prince Harry will become King, Diana will have her moment in the sun, but only a moment, Harry too will crack under the burden of pressures and within a decade he too will either give up the throne or he too will die from its duty, he will not reign long. King George was born at this propitious time to become the youngest King of England and he will reign for 3 decades during the biggest technical upheaval in the world and of the United Kingdom itself all the old guard of the Queen, Charles, Camilla, Anne will all pass away within the next decade and a new world will open up.

The baby’s horoscope you are looking at is interesting but the order of Kings is decided by a secret horoscope that was placed in the heart of London by King Arthur and the knights of the round table, I have never known this chart to be inaccurate ever and it predicts the royal birth to the day. Venus is not in fall in Virgo its in fall in Capricorn (There’s a clue in there somewhere!) This child is not common and its a mistake to treat him as such he should be privately tutored and never be sent to any boarding schools ever, or ever be subjected to their barbaric hunting rituals which only get them cursed, and I am sure he will flourish as few have before, as with all things its not up to us but up to God, but as the Lord himself wrote this kids story, its one hell of an adventure. Good Luck to you. Cheers.

Patrick, I put some paragraphs into your comment to make it easier to read, and corrected your typo. I would be very interested to see this special horoscope placed by King Arthur. That would be an fascinating chart indeed!

    • Roderick July 31, 2013 at 5:09 pm

Patrick (we share the same first name), I hate to be picky (Virgo ascendant), but you made one big error.

George is in line to be king before Harry so you’re scenario about Harry serving a decade and then George succeeding him won’t happen.

If anything Harry will probably die partying since he’s the ‘spare’ just like his grandmother’s sister.

I agree with you that Charles will never be king but I don’t believe it will be because it will be due to death just that by the time Elizabeth passes (remember her mom was 101 when she died) Charles may be too old to be interested any more. Charles finally got Camilla and I believe that he is emotionally content and will just step aside and allow William to follow his mom.

      • lokasiwisata.info August 1, 2013 at 7:16 am

Roderick, I have had the same thoughts and think that you are probably right.

  5. anna August 1, 2013 at 11:29 am

I thought most of the cancer planets were in
prince geoges 9th not 8th house!

    • lokasiwisata.info August 2, 2013 at 4:19 am

No Anna, they are in the eighth. Here is the chart.

  6. Patrick Cargill August 2, 2013 at 11:16 am

Dear Lynn, Thank you, Thank you, for reformatting my earlier comment, and thank you correcting the error, there is one more error I made probably because I was drinking too much Champagne to the little new king, but im more sober now (damn it lol) I misspoke in type I did of course mean that Prince William will be king not Harry. However I stand by it in that once Prince William becomes king he will find the pressure too much to bear and will feel isolated he will give it up. King George will have no such difficulty and he will reign a short but very hyperactive 3 decades if you look at the horoscope of the United Kingdom in Nicolas Campion’s work you will see its very clockwork, as if the individuals chart is almost irrelevant and its working off the 1922 chart.
lokasiwisata.info question about the chart is fascinating ….. and I really do want to give you the chance to see it …… so I will tell you this ……. when you are looking at Big Ben the clock and make it stand absolute north using GPS you are looking at the chart of Kings that no one can see. It was a gift from God through Merlin to the kingdom for the sacrifice that King Arthur made in the name of God, it has been said that it was done so purely that even the firmament itself wanted to thank him so God allowed this miracle, it is the foundation of England’s genius in all things from language to science to humour.

The knight templars and rosicrucians and druids, and other pagans were never ever allowed to know about it and in fact is is the reason that England was purged at the time of dark arts they are evil and were cast out by fire, the sword, Merlin, King Arthur and The Lord God’s personal intervention. it is not just another horoscope, it is the physical manifestation of God’s promise to keep England just throughout the ages This is why it hasnt been desicrated by matter and you need a mind to see it. please try but before you do ask God for guidance to those he loves, he will show it to you, if you do see it and work it out, please tread carefully and be reverent this horoscope is not just powered by the movement of planets but the word of your creator, look at it with the eyes of a child, and the awe of knowing that there is a plan for us all. Amen.

I would like to point out that over the ages this horoscope has been alluded to in the works of Shakespeare but the Oxford experts keep chopping it out as they do not grasp what is being referred to even Nostradamus was very upset by it because he was shown that the promise is far greater than the mere power of astrology itself, it is the first time that the term that multiple universes were inferred in the mind of man or in the written form. At this point all of you will be lost, and many of you will think that I am asylum material. So I will give you a clue and believe me when I say you must treat this clue even with sacred relevance and do not violate it in anyway whatsoever or you will invoke severe consequences and will soon find yourself standing before your creator, before your time. Ok ….. here is your clue ……..

While that infantile historian Michael Wood and his BBC historians cant decide if King Arthur was even real. (Trust me he was very real, and all of his Knights, and Robin Hood as well as you will work out yourself.) and we have little urchins like Tony Robinson from Time Team saying that we didn’t think this or that and that we didn’t need Roman influences and that we were always merry. They do not see that Astrology carves away thought and ideology the way that water carves away stone. You have all heard about the legend of the ‘sword in the stone’ this is the promise itself.

Everyone who is truly stupid has interpreted this literally and imagines a stone with a very noble looking bejeweled sword poking out of the top of it. They have imagined pulling it out and being proclaimed king at once and wielding all kinds of Merlin inspired magic. They are all wrong.

The sword in the stone is King Arthur’s reference to the Earth it is the biggest stone, the sword itself is the Midhaven skewering the Earth at a certain point, and the Lady in the lake is the Moon, the ripples are the orbits of bodies in our Solar System as if he was shown them in diagram which he was and the knights of the round table are 12 in number they are the constellations of the Zodiac ….. but how do you weild the sword if this is the case, Shakespeare has been trying to tell you this for ages but everyone thinks he is just an author (that’s just not the case he was appointed by God himself) anyway if you start to see it and understand then perhaps one day I will show you how to wield the sword, as I write these words I want you to know in your heart that it is the truth. Please pray carefully and reverently this is not Indiana Jones and a silly adventure, this is far more relevant, as the new era of the British Empire is about to begin. Once again thank you Lynn, please try to get a consultation from a new astrologer for a change in point of view it really does help. Linda Goodman had some interesting insights in her books, and in about 4 months Lynn you will have a very different perspective on life. Have fun.

    • Lynne September 4, 2013 at 4:28 am

Patrick, I sense a deep truth in your words. Thank you

  7. MidSummer September 18, 2013 at 11:43 pm

Sadly enough,George will likely feel somewhat unloved by his parents. There are the Saturn square Sun / square the Moon aspects in his chart. Maybe being left with nannies, and sent to boarding school will feel cold as it understandably would. Maybe somehow Middleton and William won’t give as much attention to the child as he needs as the years go on.
Actually there are a lot of troubling things in the chart, some are inappropriate to talk about too. Kind of like, wow —

    • A. September 23, 2013 at 11:36 pm

      Hello MidSummer,

Would you mind sharing the troubling things in George’s chart? After all, as the article says “our chart is our fate but we create our own destiny”. I think it’s important to mention the troubling as well as the glowing things.

      Thanks!

      • lokasiwisata.info September 24, 2013 at 3:07 pm

Some of the difficult things in the chart include

T-square with Uranus at the apex squaring an opposition from Mars/Jupiter to Pluto.
          Saturn squaring the Moon
Capricorn Full Moon (Capricorn Moon opposing Sun at 29 deg 59 minutes, just one minutes from Leo)

I have worse things in my own chart, and I am not Hitler. 🙂
